Our coding bootcamp for aspiring coders is making great progress. Stage 1 is already over—28 students out of 34 successfully completed their test assignments and proceeded to Stage 2. This second part of the bootcamp will be challenging and exciting for the participants as they dive deeper into coding across 240 hours of intense learning.

Each year, we support local communities in various regions to foster social growth. In 2025, we helped underprivileged people in several countries by providing targeted vital support. These projects were tied to celebrating a major Muslim holiday, Eid al-Adha.

When it comes to charity projects, one of our main focus areas is supporting education in all its forms. With that goal in mind, we helped a Nigerian non-profit school, Dream Catchers Academy, by providing supplies, funding infrastructural improvements, and organising a gig featuring a local dance crew.

Driven by our mission to create new career opportunities for local communities, we sponsored a free on-site coding bootcamp in Kuala Lumpur. This is a perfect career starter for young and ambitious Malaysians who want to kick off their programming careers but never had a chance.

This year, we yet again contributed to the educational initiative 'Saya Suka Membaca' ('I Love Reading'). This project aims to improve Indonesian children's literacy by training primary school teachers and providing free access to age-appropriate reading books.

To celebrate 2025, we funded the installation of box libraries in nine Indonesian rural schools in various provinces. Over its five-year lifespan, the project will benefit around 1,800 younger students, who will have free access to a selection of age-appropriate books.

In December 2024, Malaysia suffered devastating floods that left tens of thousands temporarily displaced. As part of our New Year charity project, we provided emergency kits for the victims to help them endure the disaster.

In Nigeria, our New Year 2025 charity initiative included helping a local businesswoman and transforming the life of a family struggling with educational expenses.

STATUS 200, a coding bootcamp for Malaysian youths organised by Octa and Ideas International, successfully ended last November. The twelve most dedicated students reached the very end, achieving the skill level of junior coders in just over seven months.

In August 2024, we carried out a charity initiative to help underserved local communities in Kanke and Kwaikong, Nigeria. We provided them with access to pure water and better education opportunities, driving lasting change and empowering growth.
