EUR/GBP drops toward 0.7400
FXStreet (Córdoba) - After a short lived recovery EUR/GBP turned again to the downside and broke previous lows approaching multi-year lows. The pair climbed after the NFP report to 0.7510 and then turned to the downside, and recently printed a fresh daily low at 0.7420.
The last time the euro traded at 0.7420 against the pound was on Monday, January 26, when opened the week with a bearish gap and reached at 0.7403, the lowest price since February 2008. Currently the pair is moving toward 0.7400, about to post the lowest close in 7 years.
The euro and the yen are among the worst performer on Friday, weakened by strong US jobs data and the ongoing Greek debt negotiations.
