EUR/AUD: Capped at 1.4404 post bullish opening gap

FXStreet (Guatemala) - EUR/AUD is trading at 1.4588 at time of writing with a high of 1.4604 and a low of 1.4548.

EUR/AUD has been bid on the open with a bullish gap and no sign of retreat currently. 1.4600/04 has capped the cross ahead of a busy week. First up, tomorrow comes with the Aussie house prices and also Chinese CPI and PPI. Then, we turn to Wednesday with the Greek crisis up again with an extraordinary Eurogroup meeting on Greece with another European summit the same day on Russia and Ukraine. At the end of the week, Friday gives us RBA's Governor Stevens appearing before a parliamentary committee and both German and Eurozone Q4 GDP are due. Technically for the cross, last Friday's low was key and testing the end of January support, while below there 1.4400 acts as psychological target ahead of the 1.3965 22nd Jan lows.
