USD/CAD breaks above 1.2500

FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US dollar is trading higher against its Canadian counterpart and after extending its bounce from 1.2450, the pair broke above 1.2500 resistance before reaching fresh daily highs at 1.2525.

Currently, USD/CAD is trading at 1.2512, up 0.37% on the day, having posted a daily high at 1.2524 and low at 1.2447. The hourly FXStreet OB/OS Index is showing neutral conditions, alongside the FXStreet Trend Index which is slightly bullish.

If the pair extends gains above 1.2525, it will find next resistances at 1.2545 and 1.2600. To the downside, supports are at 1.2450, 1.2425 and 1.2400.
