PM Tsipras addresses Greek Parliament
FXStreet (Córdoba) - Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is addressing the Parliament after the government rejected latest reform proposal from the European Union.
Tsipras has stated that negotiations with creditors have entered their final stage, and they are seeking "comprehensive" and "European" solution for country's economy.
Tsipras defended Greek proposal saying it constitutes a sincere attitude for compromise, resulting of various negotiations of the Brussels Group. Government has agreed to adopt tough measures in return for a complete solution, putting end to cycle of crisis.
He stated that such an agreement should put an end to speculation that Greece might leave the Eurozone. The Prime Minister also reiterated that the deal offered by creditors is unacceptable.
