Germany says it is possible to extend Greece second bailout programme

FXStreet (Córdoba) - German Finance Ministry spokesman said that some conditions would allow a potential extension to Greece's second bailout programme, however it is inappropriate to talk about that at this time as negotiations are still in progress.

German spokesman Jaeger also said that writing down Greek debt is not an option for this government and a third bailout programme is not on the table at this point.

NZD/USD: back below 0.72 ahead of RBNZ decision

The NZD/USD pair trimmed its gains to trade at 0.7185 levels as the markets are evenly split on whether or not the RBNZ would cut its interest rates today.
