EUR futures: further decline not ruled out

Open interest in EUR futures markets dropped by nearly 9.5K contracts on Wednesday vs. Tuesday’s final 545,537 contracts, according to advanced figures from CME Group. In the same line, volume shrunk significantly by almost 119.5K contracts, extending the choppy performance.

EUR/USD upside capped by 1.1400

EUR/USD continues to fail in the 1.1400 neighbourhood and this leaves the attention to the downside, where another test of the 1.1300 area still remains on the cards. Yesterday’s small up tick was in tandem with shrinking open interest and volume, somewhat reinforcing that idea.
