EU official: If Britain requests Brexit delay, EU would consider it favourably

An EU official recently crossed the news wires saying that the EU would consider it favourably if the UK were to request to postpone Brexit. "A Brexit delay of a couple of months would be relatively straight forward," the official added. 

Earlier in the session, PM May told Parliament that an extension wouldn't take the no-deal off the table and reiterated that she didn't want to extend Article 50 to force on the GBP/USD pair and cause it to retreat from daily highs to 1.3180 area.
