Natural Gas Futures: Room for extra upside

Considering advanced prints from CME Group for natural gas futures markets, open interest rose by around 5.2K contracts on Tuesday, extending the uptrend for the fourth consecutive session. In the same line, volume rose for the second straight day, this time by around 52.8K contracts.

Natural Gas eyes a test of $5.00

Prices of natural gas reversed two daily pullbacks in a row on Tuesday. The recovery was accompanied by rising open interest and volume, indicative that further gains in the commodity look likely and with the next hurdle of note at the $5.00 mark per MMBtu.
