Fed's Evans: Inflation is extremely high, have to adjust monetary policy as a result

Chicago Fed President Charles Evans said on Wednesday that US inflation is extremely high and that needs to be addressed by monetary policy for sure, reported Reuters. We will continue to see strong labour markets, Evans continued and will have to adjust monetary policy to deal with high prices, with inflation currently posing "quite a risk" to economic growth. 

On the Ukraine crisis, Evans said that at the moment, there are no obvious spillovers to the US economy.
